You can define project management training as a means of showing people how to manage every aspect of projects and using resources appropriately to achieve desired results. Project managers can and should use project management tools to this end. An important aspect of project management is leadership, which is key to the success of any project.
Part of a project manager's job is to define a project's scope. This way, the project will not evolve into something too large to be completed on time. Aspects of project management can actually be applied to projects of any size. In fact, people use project management tools all the time, without even knowing that they are the same tools project managers use.
One example of a project is cleaning one's house. The one that is doing the cleaning must first make plans. These plans will include where to start the cleaning, what cleaning supplies and tools will be needed, and how much time they want to spend on each room. Viewed as an example of a larger project, building a house involves multifarious activities, each a different aspect of a project. An architect is hired to design the house, land is cleared and prepared for the construction and masons, carpenters and painters are engaged at the respective stages of construction.
